Como gerar classes JAXB a partir de XSD?

Sou um novato total com XML. Estou fazendo uma implementação REST do projeto Java EE e retornamos muito XML. Com isso decidimos usar JAXB. Até agora, codificamos manualmente os Modelos para o XML.

Mas já existem essas estruturas complexas que não sabemos como codificar. Lemos sobre como gerar classes a partir do XSD. Temos um XSD.

Minhas perguntas:

1.) Eu li sobre o XJC, onde posso encontrá-lo?

2.) Temos que instalar o JAXB completo? (então o que usamos até agora? não é este JAXB?)

xjc -d generated http://www.kbcafe.com/rss/atom.xsd.xmlnão funciona mais (link morto). Use, por exemplo, outro Atom XSD se quiser apenas gerar algo em vez de reproduzir o acima. xjc -d generated http://exyus.com/xcs/tasklist/source/?f=put_atom.xsdfunciona no momento. No generatedentanto, crie o diretório primeiro.

Para Eclipse STS (3,5 pelo menos) você não precisa instalar nada. Clique com o botão direito em schema.xsd -> Gerar -> Classes JAXB. Você terá que especificar o pacote e a localização na próxima etapa e isso é tudo, suas classes devem ser geradas. Eu acho que todas as soluções mencionadas acima funcionam, mas esta parece de longe a mais fácil (para usuários de STS).

[ATUALIZAÇÃO] Eclipse STS versão 3.6 (baseado no Kepler) vem com a mesma funcionalidade.

1) Você pode usar o utilitário java padrão xjc - ([seu diretório inicial java] \ bin \ xjc.exe). Mas você precisa criar um script .bat (ou .sh) para usá-lo.

por exemplo, generate.bat:

No intellij, clique no arquivo .xsd -> WebServices -> Gerar código Java a partir do Xml Schema JAXB e, em seguida, forneça o caminho e o nome do pacote -> ok

Em Eclipse, clique com o botão direito no xsdarquivo que você deseja obter -> Gerar -> Java ... -> Gerador: "Esquema para classes JAXB Java".

Acabei de enfrentar o mesmo problema, tinha um monte de xsdarquivos, sendo apenas um deles XML Root Elemente funcionou bem o que expliquei acima no Eclipse

Você pode fazer download dos arquivos JAXB jar em http://jaxb.java.net/2.2.5/ Você não precisa instalar nada, apenas invoque o comando xjc e com o argumento classpath apontando para os arquivos JAXB baixados.
