Então, qual é a diferença entre algo como libinput Tapping Enablede libinput Tapping Enabled Default? O que significa default neste contexto? Estou usando-o para configurar meu touchpad para o i3.

O xf86-input-libinput usa essas propriedades somente leitura para relatar valores padrão que a libinput usaria para este dispositivo em particular e, portanto, permite que as UIs e os painéis de controle redefinam corretamente os parâmetros, em vez de assumirem um único padrão em todos os sistemas e dispositivos (ou duplicar a lógica da libinput).
