Bem. Sim. Queria um novo começo porque estava tendo confusões por dependência, então executei "whereis python" e literalmente apaguei todos os arquivos e diretórios que surgiram. Então, quando vou executar o apt-get install python, é claro que recebo muitos erros. Existe uma maneira de reinstalar o python no ubuntu sem fazer apenas uma limpeza?

No futuro, não faça isso. Não remova manualmente (ou mexa com) os arquivos instalados por meio das ferramentas de gerenciamento de pacotes (a menos que estejam explicitamente configurados para isso, como arquivos de configuração, etc.).

Dito isto, se você não conseguir (e parece que esse pode ser o caso) usar apt-getpara se recuperar dessa situação, porque há partes do processo que esperam que o python já esteja instalado, você tem algumas opções (nem todas) funcionará necessariamente).

Você pode buscar os .debarquivos python (e relacionados) manualmente e tentar usar dpkgpara instalá-los manualmente (precisará resolver a ordem de dependência manualmente para garantir que funcione corretamente). Algo como:

apt-get download python2.7-minimal ## at least this package is necessary
sudo touch /usr/bin/python2.7 && sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/python2.7
sudo dpkg --unpack python2.7-minimal*

Você deve verificar se há outros binários ausentes, como pycompilee aplicar a mesma solução.

Depois disso, é recomendável verificar o banco de dados do dpkg procurando pacotes não configurados, semi-configurados e apenas descompactados:

Como quase tudo depende do python e o "apt" não funcionará mais (devido às dependências do python), qualquer outro método levará muito mais tempo. Uma reinstalação sem o formato leva cerca de 10, 15 minutos em uma máquina atual. @ike

O apt deve funcionar para outros pacotes, mas não para o python. Não é muito difícil corrigir isso reinstalando cada pacote.

Excluir um sistema binário pode ser cataclísmico, mas não é o fim do mundo. Você pode removê rm-lo e recuperá-lo facilmente . Python é apenas um passeio no parque.

Como último recurso, pode ser necessário remover esses pacotes com o seguinte comando e depois reinstalar esses pacotes usando o comando acima. Estou quase certo de que todos os pacotes python- * estão incluídos no meta-pacote python. O OP não precisaria estabelecer e manter uma lista de pacotes para (des) / instalar. apt-get install --reinstall pythondeve cobri-lo.

Não, não vai machucar ninguém - além do estranho túnel do carpelo -, mas é desnecessário. Além disso, python-pip é um gerenciador de pacotes para programas python. É um aplicativo criado usando python e não um recurso da própria linguagem.

Você deve remover cada pacote que apresentar dificuldades e depois reinstalá-los.

Consulte /ubuntu//a/32899/176376 para remoção sem remover dependências.

sudo apt-get install "package"

Você deve remover todos os problemas primeiro e depois instalá-los novamente.

Vejo que você tem erros como este:

python2.7: not found

Isso significa que o executável python 2.7 não pode ser encontrado. Eu usei esses comandos para encontrar o pacote que o contém (que provavelmente não funcionaria no seu sistema quebrado)

Esse é o comportamento esperado. Excluir arquivos não é o mesmo que desinstalar um pacote ou programa.

Você excluiu todas as coisas relacionadas à python da sua instalação, mas o seu gerenciador de pacotes não sabe disso. Quando você instala o Python novamente, o apt espera que todos esses arquivos ainda estejam lá e não se incomoda em tentar baixá-los novamente. No que diz respeito ao apt, todo o python ainda está instalado; Você nunca disse o contrário.

Você pode tentar o seguinte para tentar corrigir isso:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall python

Você está certo até o segundo parágrafo. Seu método de "corrigir" o problema pode apenas remover a maioria dos pacotes do sistema OP.

@Braiam Você está certo. Eu tinha como certo que o pacote apt-get remove pode desinstalar pacotes que o pacote apt-get install não restaurará necessariamente. Eu editei, mas fique à vontade para corrigi-lo se ainda estiver de folga.
