Erro de configuração do VirtualBox rcvboxdrv “Configuração incorreta de argumentos”

Depois de atualizar o kernel, o VirtualBox, como sempre, reclamou que o driver do kernel do VirtualBox Linux (vboxdrv) não estava carregado e eu tive que executar o seguinte comando:

sudo /sbin/rcvboxdrv setup

Infelizmente, desta vez, a execução do rcvboxdrv setupfalhou com a mensagem Bad argument setup. Eu acho que esse é um erro de regressão introduzido no recente pacote VirtualBox na página da Oracle.

Como corrigir o problema e poder executar o VirtualBox?

Para mim, a execução sudo apt-get install --reinstall virtualbox-5.0resolveu o problema.

Em um comentário no ticket , execute o seguinte comando:

sudo /usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup

em vez do comando dado pelo VirtualBox.

Funciona, mas precisa ser executado após cada reinicialização.

Eu não tenho um /usr/lib/virtualbox/. Instalação nova do virtualbox. Eu tenho um /usr/lib64/virtualbox/mas sem vboxdrv.sh. Instalado a partir dos repositórios do Fedora 24.

Até que isso seja corrigido, você pode editar o /sbin/rcvboxdrvarquivo (por exemplo, em um terminal usando o Nano editor via sudo nano /sbin/rcvboxdrv) e adicionar algumas linhas:

Eu tive o mesmo problema no Kubuntu 14.04.3 com o VirtualBox 5.0.14. Nenhuma das respostas anteriores funcionou, mas o comentário de @ Takkat sugere

sudo apt-get install --reinstall virtualbox-5.0

trabalhou para corrigir o problema.

Eu tive o mesmo problema no Redhat7. Encontrei uma sugestão em outro fórum para executar: /usr/lib/virtualbox/vboxdrv.sh setup Isso corrigiu o problema. minha caixa virtual está funcionando agora.

A reversão /sbin/rcvboxdrvpara a versão antiga corrige o problema. Caso a versão antiga do arquivo não esteja mais disponível, aqui está a cópia:
