Executar manualmente um trabalho Anacron

Eu realizei uma instalação mínima do meu sistema. Eu quero usar este sistema como servidor de mídia PLEX. Eu configurei o LXDE porque é uma GUI leve. Estou configurando meu sistema para fazer backups automáticos usando o rsnapshot. Eu configurei com sucesso o meu arquivo rsnapshot.conf e, executando o comando semanal rsnapshot no terminal, estou obtendo os resultados desejados.

Aqui está o meu arquivo rsnapshot.conf:

Criei um trabalho semanal da Anacron no arquivo anacrontab:

Como faço para testar se o Anacron executará este trabalho sem nenhum erro ou não.

Na maioria das vezes, não vou entrar. Como faço uma execução de teste da Anacron.

Você pode 'forçar a execução' de um trabalho anacron ignorando seus registros de data e hora;

anacron -f

Outras opções como -ntambém podem ser usadas, se desejar.

De man anacron:

 -f     Force execution of the jobs, ignoring the timestamps.

 -s     Serialize  execution  of jobs.  Anacron will not start a new job
              before the previous one finished.

 -n     Run  jobs  now.   Ignore  the  delay   specifications   in   the
              /etc/anacrontab file.  This options implies -s.

Você pode ver os logins /var/log/syslog.

O registro de data e hora de cada trabalho é armazenado /var/spool/anacron.

PS: Outra pergunta: para agendar trabalhos semanais em um PC que não funcionará 24x7, cron ou anacron será usado?
