Estou seguindo este tutorial para executar um dos exemplos fornecidos pela PCL (biblioteca de nuvem de pontos): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXK95Hi4M7I

Mas, ao executar o comando make ( https://youtu.be/CXK95Hi4M7I?t=243 ), recebo a seguinte saída:

O erro:

make [2]: *** Nenhuma regra para criar o destino '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so', necessário para 'range_image_visualization'. Pare.

significa que o make não consegue encontrar o arquivo /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.sonecessário para concluir a compilação.

Primeiro verifique se o arquivo existe:

$ stat /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so  
stat: cannot stat '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so': No such file or directory  

Ok, então precisamos instalá-lo. A maneira mais fácil de descobrir o que o pacote fornece libpcl_common.soé usando uma ferramenta chamada apt-file. Instale e configure:

sudo apt-get install apt-file
apt-file update

Quando terminar, você pode executar:

$ apt-file search /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so  
libpcl-common1.8: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so.1.8
libpcl-common1.8: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so.1.8.0
libpcl-dev: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpcl_common.so

E lá vai você! Instale libpcl-deve você deve ser dourado.

Também é importante notar que , geralmente , dentro do diretório de origem, deve haver um arquivo LEIA-ME com uma lista das dependências que você precisará instalar, o que deve ajudar a remover algumas dessas suposições e economizar algum tempo.

btw, geralmente procuro pacotes usando o apt-cache. Em outras palavras, aqui eu tentei "sudo apt-cache pkgnames libpcl", o que oferece mais opções. Mas eu simplesmente não tenho idéia de qual instalar. É melhor sempre usar sua alternativa, ou seja, o arquivo apt? Como eles diferem?

O @trilolil apt-cache searchapenas pesquisa o nome do pacote e uma breve descrição. apt-file searchestá olhando dentro dos pacotes para ver qual deles inclui o arquivo que você pesquisou.
