Estou trabalhando em um computador Linux Mint 16 e, desde recentemente, toda vez que quero instalar algo via apt-get install, a mensagem de log informa que os pacotes não puderam ser autenticados. Eu vou em frente e tento instalá-los sem autenticação e acontece que a maioria dos pacotes não foi encontrada.
No final do processo, a mensagem do console sugere que eu use apt-get updateou --fix-missing. É isso que eu faço: sudo apt-get updatee imediatamente depois de tentar instalar novamente, sudo apt-get install nginxmas ainda recebo o mesmo erro de mensagem.
Qual é o problema? Estou esquecendo de algo?
Nota: eu teria copiado / colado os logs, mas eles estão em espanhol, portanto provavelmente não teriam sido de grande ajuda para a maioria.

Atualizando basicamente as listas para usar old-releases.ubuntu.com:
Editar: como Meisam Mulla disse nos comentários , se seus URLs nos
/etc/apt/sources.listarquivos tiverem um prefixo com algo (ca.por exemplo), você precisará remover os prefixos manualmente, poisca.old-releases.ubuntu.comnão é um endereço válido.Além disso, algumas das minhas mensagens de erro para os Googlers:
