Abra um terminal e digite o seguinte:

wget -q -O - https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add -

Isso importará a chave GPG atualizada do Google.

Você deve poder atualizar o sistema sem erros.

O problema é que também está falhando aleatoriamente. Meu build está sendo executado no TravisCI e alguns deles estão falhando pelo mesmo motivo. Instalei corretamente a chave exatamente como você mostrou acima. Apenas começou recentemente. = (

Eu já tinha essa chave e estava funcionando até alguns dias atrás. Excluí a chave que tinha e usei o comando acima, mas não resolveu o problema. Eu ainda tinha o erro de assinatura inválida. A resposta do Mikhail resolveu o problema para mim. Não houve mais erros de GPG e uma nova atualização para o Google Chrome apareceu.

Este site tem a única solução que funcionou para mim no Ubuntu 14.04 LTS de 64 bits:

  1. Edite google-chrome.list (supondo que você esteja no canal estável, caso contrário, consulte o comentário em destaque no site):

    sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
    
  2. No arquivo de texto que é aberto, edite o arquivo para que a linha leia:

    deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main
    
  3. Tente atualizar novamente

    sudo apt-get update

Isso funcionará melhor do que estas soluções:

E depois disso, você fará isso para instalar o chaveiro de outro servidor de chaves:

wget -q -O - https://dl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | sudo apt-key add -

E então você faz:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Agora está tudo pronto. :)

Eu fiz o mesmo no meu Kubuntu 15.04. O comando gpg --recv-keys só funcionou para mim depois de adicionar "0x" antes do número BADSIG. Assim, o comando foi gpg --keyserver hkp: //subkeys.pgp.net --recv-chaves 0xA040830F7FAC5991

Eu tive que baixar o arquivo de chave do Google https://www.google.com/linuxrepositories/ e importá-lo para a autenticação de fontes de software.

Ao executar novamente o Sudo Apt Update, tive a opção de responder à pergunta
